Houdini Rope & Ring Trick
Overview :
Escape from the knot right in front of your eyes. An amazing close up effect.
Detailed Description :
You will think Houdini is alive again with this one! The magician borrows a string/rope and a key ring or some such circular object. He then folds the rope in half and threads the folded part through the ring, next placing the free ends through the loop, thus encapsulating the ring on one end. Next, while the magician holds the end with the ring, the spec is asked to tie a knot in the other end. After doing so the rope is examined to make sure it is secure. Then the magician just rubs the ring and rope and the ring melts right off! Amazing! You can do this with a shoelace and a key ring if you do not want to carry the objects with you. This way all the items can be borrowed. This trick has a difficulty rating of 2.

Fantastic Five Magic Card
Overview :
You have seen the movie, now learn the trick! Fantastic 4, or is it 5!
Detailed description :
Any card is selected from the deck and remembered. Then the spec places it on top and the deck is cut to lose it in the middle. After doing so, the magician or the spectator spreads the deck out on the table. There is one face up card but, oh, is it their card? All is not lost though, as the magician explains that it is a spot card. So he takes all the cards to the right of it and sets them aside. Then he pushes the 5 aside and counts 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 cards off and turns over the 5th card to the left. It is their card! Not only that but when the magician turns over the 4 cards between the two face up cards, they are the 4 aces! This trick has a difficulty rating of 3.

Card warp
This is a cool illusion where the cards appear to warp through the pack
Effect :
A red 5 and a red 6 are shown to a spectator and given to the spectator to place anywhere in a pack of cards.
The magician then takes the pack from the spectator and clasps his hands round the pack with his arms outstretched. He appears to be concentrating very hard, with his attention focused on the cards.
He then removes his hand and shows the pack to the spectator. On turning over the top two cards of the pack, they are the red 5 and 6 .
This trick is extremely convincing and requires good presentation skills
Secret :
Give a 5 of diamonds and a 6 of hearts to the spectator to place in the pack ( do not draw attention to the suits, only that they are a red 5 and 6. )
To prepare for this trick, make sure that the pack has already got the 5 of hearts and the 6 of diamonds on top, face down before handing it to the spectator. The spectator should not realise that the cards have changed as they are the same colour as the original ones.

Torn And Restored Card Trick
Effect:
A card ( which can even be a signed card ) is ripped into four pieces. The spectator puts a finger on the pieces and the pieces seem to magically restore themselves back into a whole card. !!!
Preparation:
Before doing the trick, rip off one fourth of a playing card of the same colour of suit as the one that you will be appearing to tear.
Start the trick with the card facing in front of you and fold it into fourths, creasing the card and then unravelling it.
Explain to your audience that doing this makes it easier to tear the card evenly.
Performance:
Hold the card in front of you, facing the audience, the extra torn card piece should be pressed by your thumb onto the side of the card that is facing you. Rip down the upper middle of the card stopping at the centre. Now fold down the upper right corner and slide out the corner you ripped of earlier as the piece that was ripped of.
( This should look like you have ripped of the corner from the card - the audience cannot see that the real corner is still attached to the card and folded out of their view .)
Now put the torn piece behind the card again, being held in position with your thumb.
Fold what is now the lower right corner behind the card. As you are bending this piece back, slide the extra piece into view again, pretend to rip it off. Place it behind the card and fold the card in half again.
( really it is still together )
Pretend to rip it in half again, but just slide the loose piece off the pile convincingly to look like it has ripped. Place the piece behind the card which is now folded up.
Now even though the card is not ripped, you can fan the pieces to make it look like three or four pieces. Ask a spectator to place their fingers on the " torn " pieces. As you set the pieces on the table, steal the loose piece with your thumb and hide it in your hand by using a finger palm move.
Misdirect and place the loose piece in your pocket. Now ask the spectator to exam the card and they will find that it is in one piece.
Take a bow, as the audience look completely baffled.
Step By Step Photos
1) Rip extra piece off other card.
2) Fold card into fourths.
3) Hold extra piece in place with thumb.
4)Present "torn" piece to audience.
5) Fold second half of card.
6) Fold third half of card.
GOOD LUCK !!!!!
